While I edited these photos, I couldn't help but sing along to "I wanna live where the green grass grows, watch my corn pop up in rows, every night be tucked in close to youuuuu..." because seriously. They make the farm life look so romantic.
This house was full of natural window light! Like the kind that made me giddy. Someday when I build my dream home, I hope it has light like this! Baby McKayla was a dream. And also more fashionable than me.
I got to hang out with these adorable curly haired twin girls! We spent the evening smelling flowers and giggling about all the silly things. Being a lifestyle portrait family photographer is the best.
A foggy morning sunrise + beautiful countryside + a high school senior & her favorite horse... it's like all my dreams coming true at once! The pictures "say a thousand words" so I don't have to:
Most lifestyle newborn sessions take place in my clients' homes, or in the White Elm natural light studio, however when the weather is perfect, it's also a fun option to do a family newborn session at the park! I can already tell those two little brothers are going to be the best of friends.
I'm still amazed by this family with two kids who got all dressed up and made it to downtown Columbus for a MORNING session! And somehow being happy about it! Haha but seriously. They really are this cute, friendly, happy, and nice in real life. I just can't get enough of those smiles!
This sweet family drove to Columbus, Ohio for our lifestyle newborn photography session, coming all the way from Michigan! I can't imagine riding in a car for so long after just having a baby (actually I can imagine it... and it's painful to think about!) But this mama was a champ. And that darling baby Emeline was a dream. I could not get over her red hair and chubby cheeks. She. was. perfect.
This cute couple tagged along to help their sister with the kids during a photo session, so we added on a SUPER mini session for them, because who doesn't want some cute Christmas card photos from the best photographer in Columbus?! We grew up together, so I can say cheesy lines like that. ;)
